lecture at university of North Florida

We are excited to announce that Dr. Wells recently delivered an insightful lecture at the University of North Florida, sharing expert knowledge with students in the Master’s of Athletic Training (MSAT) program.

The lecture covered dry needling and its applications in treating various orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, such as knee pain, hip pain, rotator cuff tears, and muscle strains. In addition, Dr. Wells presented on “tough orthopedic cases,” emphasizing critical thinking and evidence-based treatment approaches for conditions like neck pain, nerve injuries, and distinguishing lower back pain from extremity-related pain.

Dr. Wells has been a part of the UNF community for many years, having graduated from both the athletic training and physical therapy programs. He is honored to give back to the community and share his expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals. Teaching and continuing education are essential aspects of Dr.
